Call to Artist

Chris Bubany and Friends Gallery is currently considering local artists of all mediums for permanent membership or participation as a Guest Artist.

A collaborative membership with the Gallery requires completion of the application (.pdf) mailed to roniwoolston@gmail.com or the Gallery, 6538 E. Tanque Verde Rd. Suite 140. Image can be emailed.

Follow up interviews by the search committee will be conducted following review of the online application, at which time you will also present actual samples of your current artwork. The committee will make a recommendation to the full membership at the following monthly owners’ meeting, and the successful candidates will be welcomed to the Gallery as soon after that time as possible.      

 

COSTS:  (Fall 2020)

 

Full Space Membership (80 square feet of display space)

 

  • A one-time NON-REFUNDABLE $250 buy-in ownership fee (can be spread over the first 3 months of membership) for a full space (10 linear feet);

  • A fee equal to 10% of your gross sales will be deducted from your monthly proceed checks to cover all credit card and supply expenses;  

  • $250.00 per month paid prior to the start of each month to cover rent and utilities for a full space.

 
Half Space Membership (40 square feet of display space)

 

  • A one-time NON-REFUNDABLE $125 buy-in ownership fee (can be spread over the first 3 months of membership);

  • A fee equal to 10% of your gross sales will be deducted from your monthly proceed checks to cover all credit card and supply expenses;  

  • $125 per month paid prior to the start of each month to cover rent and utilities.

 

 

BENEFITS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

As a member, you will file and pay your own AZ TPT sales tax; 

 

All credit card charges are assessed a 2.75% bank fee included in monthly 10% fee, making the consignment fee 7.25%; 

 

As a member, you have access to using the classroom space at no fee. You will collect your own class fees and be listed on all Gallery social media;

 

Membership requires adherence to the Gallery Operating Agreement, which includes commitment to work in the Gallery for 2-3 days per month, accurately conducting and recording sales, paying commission fees, attending monthly owner meetings, participation in Gallery events and serving as needed towards Gallery operations.

 

Your artwork will be on display and for sale during all hours that the Gallery is open!  Other member artists who know your work and your artist story will be available to assist shoppers in the purchase of your creations!
