Welding & Plasma Cutting
with Emily Mann
Create Plasma-cut and Welded pieces for your home as you learn the basics of MIG welding and plasma cutting. You will learn to use a brake, roller, planishing hammer, shear and other amazing tools as you put together your own projects.
Plasma Cutting
Learning to slice through metal like Thor and let your creativity flow like plasma as you draw your own design into sheet metal. Come with your own ideas or make suggested projects like a sconce, flower, outdoor signage, butterfly, mask, or whimsical wall hanging.

MIG Welding
Practice running "beads" and bonding joints until comfortable and then put your skills to use making a flower, perhaps a collage of remnant metal scraps, and mounts for your other projects. Compare low and high-end welders.
Duration: 6-7+ hrs
Essentially, dependent on your attentions span. I won't let you go home with an incomplete project.
For larger projects, hourly workshop space rental is available, $32/hr.

Cost: $145
Includes insurance, all safety gear and many snacks. Bringing a lunch is recommended.

Gallery member Peggy Steffens and Tucson photographers Bill Walther and Ron Shannon offer a variety of photography classes using the iPhone and iPad for capturing and editing images.
iPhonography
The introductory classes will teach you the basics of composition,
technical aspects of taking the photograph and inspire you to be creative with a variety of apps.
Each class will provide a safe learning environment from knowledgeable educators who want you to succeed.
Intermediate and
advanced classes will open your eyes and heart to take your photography to the next level and provide field experiences.

Classroom Usage
The classroom of the Gallery is available for daily rental, Tuesday-Saturday, 10-5. After-hours and Sundays by special arrangement.

The classroom is approximately 20'x20' with a restroom and an industrial work sink. Work tables, chairs, projector, screen, open walls for display, refrigerator, and microwave.
With ample parking in an easily accessible area of Eastern Tucson, our classroom is a great place to share your skills and nurture learners in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
