Jacqueline was born in Brooklyn and spent the first half of her life in the arts as an actress, singer and dancer.
Chapter two brought her to Tucson where she learned Spanish, taught as a bilingual teacher and had the great good luck to become an arts specialist for TUSD. During that time she began knitting animals, then scarves, then hats until she decided that yarns, silk fabrics, buttons and felting could all be incorporated to create clothing and accessories of whimsy and beauty.
She has participated in the Open Studio Tours, the Tucson Museum of Art gift shop and Holiday Artisan’s Market. Her work reflects her love of color and texture as well as a strong feeling for improvisation.
